Welcome to the 2017-2018 Mentoring Program
The 2016-2017 Mentoring Program was a great success! Let’s keep the momentum going!
The objective of the Citywide Mentoring Program is to leverage the talent across our organization to achieve collective development goals. Participants are encouraged to build mentoring relationships outside of their divisions/departments so as to 1) broaden perspectives on working for the City and 2) strengthen organization-wide knowledge transfer. Any full-time City of San José employee can participate as either a mentor or mentee. You can even do both in this program!
The program kick starts September 15, 2017 and runs through March 2018. At the Kickoff event, we will celebrate the start of this year’s program as well as provide information/guidelines on how to create a solid partnership with your mentor/mentee. First-time participants are welcome!
Sign-ups will begin July 24, 2017. Mentors/mentees will be paired in late August/early September. Deadline is August 31.
